Thierry Henry returned after groin injury to score both goals in Arsenal 2-0 Champions League away win against Sparta Prague. He also surpassed Arsenal all time top scorer record held by Ian Wright with 185 goals.
Henry did not play for six weeks due to injury and he was supposed to play for half hour at most. However, Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger introduced Henry after only 15 minutes instead of injured Antonio Reyes. The French striker payed back within six minutes, with a superb goal from the edge of the penalty area. Henry struck again 18 minutes from time, sealing another Champions League victory for Gunners which virtually secured them place in knock-out stages.
Manchester United's Champions League game against Lille ended in goalless draw at Old Trafford. United's attack performed poorly without suspended Rooney, while their European competition future is in danger after Paul Schools was also sent off in tonight's match.
