Chelsea scored four goals in nine minutes of the second half to reverse Bolton's first half advantage and record another comprehensive 5-1 Premiership win. Stelios Giannakopoulos stunned the home side in the fourth minute and put Bolton ahead, but Chelsea returned with the vengeance after the break. Didier Drogba equalized in the 52nd minute, quickly followed by Frank Lampard who scored second three minutes later. Bolton played with ten men after Ricardo Gardner was dismissed in the 58th minute for a handball.
It was again Lampard's turn a minute later, while Drogba scored fourth in the 61st minute. Eidur Gudjohnsen's cool finish sealed the victory for the Premiership leaders in the 74th minute. Chelsea recorded 9th straight Premiership win and they are eleven points ahead of the second-placed Tottenham. In the other Premiership matches:
