England's friendly match against Argentina will go ahead after England secured a place in the World Cup. The game is scheduled for 12 November and the date is overlapping with the date set for World Cup playoffs. England qualified for the World Cup with a 1-0 win against Austria on Saturday coupled with Holland's 2-0 win against Czech Republic. Although the last match in the group against Poland is not crucial as both national teams have already qualified for Germany 2006, the result will decide the winner of the group. However it might be of importance for the World Cup draw, although FIFA has not revealed the seeding rules.
The match against Argentina will take place in Geneva, Switzerland. The place is chosen for its proximity to Germany and similar conditions
