Jermaine Jenas scored a magnificent goal from free kick in the 72nd minute to earn a well deserved draw for Tottenham at Old Trafford. Manchester United took an early lead through Mikael Silvestre in the 7th minute. Robinson failed to keep the ball after saving Ruud van Nistelrooy's header and Silvestre readily sent the ball into the net. Spurs had three penalty appeals turned down by the referee Rennie, two of them seemed to be valid claims. Although United missed several good opportunities, the visitors deserved their point. The match attracted around 25 Korean journalists as both sides fielded one Korean national - Young-Pyo Lee appeared for Spurs and Park Ji-sung played for United instead of injured Giggs.
