Sheffield United hold the top spot in the Championship after 3-1 win at Crew. They have won five out of six league matches this season.
Neil Shipperley scored the opener from close range on 15 minutes, while Steve Foster equalized with a header two minutes later after United's goalkeeper Paddy Kenny made an error.
Alan Quinn put Neil Warnock's men ahead in the 50th minute with an excellent strike and Steve Kabba volleyed the third six minutes later.
