Dundee United's UEFA Cup second qualifying round, first leg match, against Finish side My-Pa 47, finished in a goalless draw. Barry Robson wasted Dundee United's best chance early in the game, kicking the ball wide from the close range.
The Finish side struck the ball twice against woodwork in the first half. Tero Taipale's header bounced from the bar, and in the 20th minute Finish defender's 30-yard shot, was deflected by United's keeper Stillie. The ball hit the crossbar before going over. My-Pa was a better side in the second half, created several chances but failed to score. Few attempts by United's striker's did not constitute serious danger to My-Pa's goalkeeper Korhonen.
