Arsenal and Liverpool have pulled out of the race to sign Real Madrid's striker Michael Owen. Manchester United is now most likely destination for Owen.
Although Real Madrid have not put Owen on the transfer list, they have made it clear they will consider any offer for England striker. Owen faces a season on the substitute bench after Real Madrid signed two Brazilian strikers, Julio Baptista and Robinho.
He is willing to move in order to secure a place in the first eleven. Since his move to Madrid Owen spent many games on the bench. Despite that he managed to score 16 goals.
Real are asking £11 million for Owen, £3 million more then the price they paid to Liverpool.
