Celtic's Craig Beattie scored in injury time to save Celtic from defeat at Motherwell. The match started well for Celtic who were 3-1 up at half-time.
John Hartson scored a first-half hat trick with two headers and one kick from the penalty spot. Brian Kerr scored for Motherwell in the 20th minute.
Second half belonged entirely to Motherwell. Hamilton scored second for Motherwell in the 58th minute, while McDonald's header cancelled Celtic's advantage two minutes later. Motherwell took the lead in the 84th minute, when Kinniburgh scored after a mistake in Celtic's defence.
Celtic managed to equalise in the final moments of the match. Hamilton's long ball found unmarked Beattie, who placed the ball in the net past Motherwell's goalkeeper Marshall.
