Tottenham join the race to sign Sevilla's 23-year old Brazil striker Julio Baptista. Arsenal's £13,7 million offer was rejected by Sevilla.
The Gunners must decided weather to increase their offer after Tottenham's bid was made public.
Sevilla's announced that the highest offer for Baptista of £14 million was made by the Spurs and that time is running out for other clubs to increase their offers.
Sevilla's management claims Arsenal approached Baptista without their permission. They are threatening to report the Gunners to FIFA, the world's football governing body.
The Sevilla's claim was rejected by the Arsenal management.
