Liverpool drawn against Welsh side TNS

In the first qualifying round of the UEFA Champions League Liverpool will face Welsh side Total Network Solutions. The return leg will be played in Wrexham due to safety regulations.

Northern Ireland side Glentoran will play Irish side Shelbourne in the opening round, while Celtic will face either Kazakhstan's FC Kairat Almaty or FC Artmedia Bratislava from Slovakia in the second round.

The first leg of the opening round is scheduled for July 12 and 13, return leg will be played on July 19 and 20.

Liverpool finished fourth in the last Premiership season, but was allowed to defend their Champions League title after UEFA changed it's regulations.

However, the Reds will have to play in the qualifying stages of the tournament.
